In this blog post, you will have an opportunity to check out Rezrog props and to see some fresh ones that have been developed recently and will be added to the game shortly. Rezrog is dungeon crawler with tabletop aesthetics; it is quite tricky to create props that would fit as tabletop game elements into a video game.
First of all, props are really important part of dungeons of Rezrog; they are tailored to different dungeon themes and purposes. While being in a dungeon, the player can distinguish themes with a help of props, create associations, discover new items and enjoy game art.

Functional props, such as torches and lanterns, are used to light up dark dungeons. Containers like chests and barrels can be opened and holds in game items useful for players.
Aesthetic props, such as beds, furniture and household items, are used to create an atmosphere of habitation. They are created in order to add authentic feeling to the dungeon theme.
Most of the dungeon props are 1×1 or 1×2 tiles large, which makes them quite easy to place, unobstructive and navigation straightforward. It is quite a challenge to create additional items as we have approached quite a large number of props already. Today, one of our tasks is adding more unique and fitting props to themed dungeons.
